week 4

It was so entertaining for me to read about your first days in the United States! Thanks for sharing those stories. In this chapter of the writing book, our topic is high school experiences. I want you to think back further to elementary school. What is the earliest memory you have of school? One of my earliest memories is in second grade when I was sent to the Principal's office. I had put the eraser end of a pencil into the classroom sharpener to see what would happen. The sharpener broke and the teacher was really mad and sent me to see the Principal.

  1. One of my the most exciting memories at high school is cutting class in 12th level on the last day of schoolyear. It is the last level at high school in my native country. In my country,we must pass the graduation of high school examination to join in unversity exam will be celebrated next month after graduating high school. One day, my friends and me want to do something to relax and make a memory that can not forget. We had a decision which i have never forgot,it is the cutting class. As we decided, we bought fruits, coke, pepsi and everything like that to have a small party. We went to the back yard and had a party in there. Many activities with my friends have made me remember forever as soccer, play card,...We yelled together when someone do a silly action or ask a stupid question. It is very funny for my life at high school. Unfortunately, the guardian heard our noise and he came to check what was going on.When he was coming,my friend saw him and shouted "Guardian, everybody run...run...run...".I left everything in behind and run as fast as possible to escape from him.We hid in the restroom together within somebody's bad smelling. Absolutely, that is not our smelling. After the guardian got away, we runed away from restroom with the fingers on our nose. That is my wonderful memory which i still remembering now.

  2. I have an old memory of my elementary school days. My teacher was six months pregnant when I met her first in the fourth grade. We, all my classmates, knew that she should go to give her baby birthday before long. She was very eager to teach us as if she was going to prepare for her long absence. We loved her so much, and on the other hand, we were also concerned about someone who may take her place. Some weeks later, the day came, but new teacher didn’t come. Instead of new teacher, my classmates scattered in other classes by fours or fives. Maybe, the budget of the school must have not been enough for an extra teacher. As a result, my classmates were separated from each other unwillingly. I could forget neither the time at which I moved to other class with my desk and chair nor the sorrow for a long time. A couple of days later, some of my classmates including me became to gather to our vacant classroom after class spontaneously, and it spread rapidly to other classmates. We gathered everyday and talked about their new classes and teachers with missing our teacher. In the process of doing that, an interclass music contest was planned. The teacher of each class was a director for practice and conductor of the orchestra in the contest that all the students must participate in. However, we had to make our team by ourselves without teacher. With this handicap, we practiced hardly everyday and even on holidays. We were as united as our gathering together, and after all, we got a grand prize in the contest. After that, we walked away with all the victories. We not only got the gold medal in the soccer tournament of next month but also took first place among the all classes in final exam. In the course of winning, I learned how to win. Moreover, I also knew that it is hard for me to do my best, whereas the result is enough to compensate me for all the bitters.

  3. My earliest remembrance is in first grade on my birthday. Actually, I did not realize that day was my birthday . After the break time, I found a package in my drawer, the package was wrapped in the white paper and was not written any name or mark on the package. At that time, I did not think too much and handed over the package to my teacher. In the classroom, the teacher inquired "who is the owner of package", but nobody answered. Then the teacher opened the package in front of my classmates. It was some very beautiful magnets. Suddenly, a boy wailed in the class, and we knew it was his package under inquiring. I was surprised because this was my birthday gift. The teacher repackaged and gave me. This is the deepest memory of my impression, because this is my first time to make a boy cry.

  4. I was reminded of my first mid-term when I was freshman. Especially, I remembered one question. The subject was public morals. The question was about when people pass a road, people should do keep to the left or the right. There was one picture which was drawn a two lane-road and sidewalks both sides of road on test paper. I had to choose keep to the left, but at that time I though people can walk both sides road because being drawn sidewalks both sides of road on test paper. So, I selected keep to the both. However, the correct answer was Keep to the left. Few dyas later, when I received the test paper from teacher, I was suprised. Also, I couldn't understand, and then I asked mother. Mother explained me, and I could know about Keep to the left.

  5. Looking back on my elementary school, our school regulations seemed to be very strict during my elementary school. After class, a school didn't allow us to remain at a school to play on the school's ground, so we oughted to go back home, or move outside a school to play. At that time, we also had much difficulities in finding other places where we played to soccer freely. For this reasons, though I liked to play soccer very much, I was not free to play soccer on the school playground. Nevertheless, I played soccer our classmates almost everyday on the school playground. Hereupon, though my teacher was very kind and generous, one day he forbade directly us to play soccer, but after I gathered together with the classmates of same mind, we kept on playing soccer against his directions. Futhermore, we all bought a soccer uniforms as the symbol of unity. In the mean while, my teacher came to be aware of our disobeying his directions. Then after, he gave a good scolding to us including me and made us clean the restrooms as a kind punishment. I longed for the nostalgic past of long time years ago, dear memories with beloved classmates.

  6. I have some piece of memories in first grade. First one is about entrance ceremony. In my memory, my mom took me at school first day. My class, teacher were already settled. So I went to my class with my first classmates, and my mom and other all moms followed us. It was first time that my mom wasn't next to me. I still remember that feeling. I was so nervous, because my mom was not next to me. I was looking for my mom when teacher introduced herself. And then, when I found my mom in the back of classroom, I begun to listen to a teacher. This is my first memory. Second is about an errand. One day in the winter, my mom sent me and my older sister on an errand. Actually I'm not sure whether it was an errand. Anyway we did something in some mall. After that, we had small change. I just wanted to go home right away, but my sister didn't. She wanted to buy some snack for mom. First time when she said that, I disagreed. Because my mom didn't say that we can use small change. But my sister persuaded me. As a result, we bought some hot snack. My sister held snacks in her jumper when we went back to home. because she didn't want it becomes cold. she wanted to give hot snacks to mom. When we got home, my sister have it to mom. My mom was impressed. Actually I don't know which one is my first memory. But when I think about that time, it makes me smile.

I felt happy, when 3 different intervals put together and make one sound. In addition, I like my chorus uniform. That is red jacket and white skirt. I thought that is beautiful. When I participated courus contest, my group did first rank many times. I'm very tensed every contest but after contest, I'm joyful and my parents ware proud of me. 10. In my life, I think the most funny memories are when I was in high school. When I was in level 12 - it is the last level in high school, I had too many fun memories with my friends. My high school doesn't allow for students bring food into the class. But we also bring mango, guava,... into class and didn't let the teacher see it.
Vietnamese students like rain shower so much. I and my friends are, too. I remember that it was the last day at school. After we finished party in class, suddenly it was heavy rain. Everybody told together let's went outside have a rain shower. We went to the park near school and took rain shower together. We organized many games to play. We stand in a circle and sang, danced... It was really funny beacause all of members in class joined together..That is the best memory that I never forget.

I could hang my feet on the railing, and I was infatuated to look the reversed world. Next, my class chairman passed me, and I called her. “Do you want to watch my world?” I said. “how?”she was werid. I started to teach her how to play the railing. I deely thought it is a very easy exercise, so I released my hand. Suddenly, her face fell in the ground, and her teeth also were in the ground. I felt sorry and embarrassed about her. Anyway, It is a most unforgettable memory of my impression.

  12. Hello everyone. I didn’t like primary school for I had to learn many boring for me things. That’s why during first class I always was late and my teachers really hate it. There were many more interesting activities on the way to school: eating candies or ice creams, talking with fellows, catching frogs and lizards, snail races and so on. I had many excuses for being late. One of the most common was: ‘I late because of oversleeping’. However there were also more sophisticated excuses, for instance: When my class master asked what happened to me this time? I answered her: The board with encyclopedias was fallen on my head and I was in temporary shock. After I told her my story, she said: Really? Because it was board with encyclopedias, you should be wiser. Maybe all knowledge from these encyclopedias streamed down to your head. She was laughing till the end of class. In addition, she was the best teacher I’ve ever had. During one year she changed my bed habits and even If she hit me form time to time my textbook on my head, I liked her (It didn’t hurt, maybe she worried about book’s condition).

  13. One of my earliest memories in elementary school is in first grade when I went to school on the first day of semester. My elementary school is a really big one and our campus is like a labyrinth, thus, I was lost. At that time, every student was ready for the flag-rising ceremony on the corridors. Therefore, I felt really nervous and almost cried because I was shy and timid when I was a child. When I got my classroom, there was nothing happened, but I stll had a lingoring fear. I dreamed that I was lost in campus again. After that, I heard some of my frinds have the same experience with mine that proves my school is really big.

  14. One memory I remember is when I was in fourth grade. In class, we had an art project to do, but I didn’t really want to paint anything at the time. So I made a painting without any effort. Two months later in class, the teacher called me to the front. So I walked to the front of the class, and I had no idea what was going on. The teacher announced that my painting got an award from Incheon City Hall. I was surprised because I didn’t put any effort into the painting. They had a school award ceremony, and also announced it to the school. And my parents were really happy that I received an award for my painting.

  15. One of my earliest memories is in my forth grade about my cousin. My cousin and i are in the same age, so we are always in the same class. That day, we went to play in the square which is in front of my house as usual. Suddenly, one of cement boards which was standing on the square fell down, while my cousin couldn't avoid it in time so that her right leg was broke by the cement board. As a result, in the following days, she couldn't go to school, so i should be her private tuition to help her catch up with our study. Besides, the next day, our monitor organized all the classmates to visit my cousin, and they also gave my cousin some gifts to express their best wishes. And then our monitor push a bicycle to carry my cousin go to school, and back her to go to the playground in our school. In the day, classmates' enthusiasm moved my cousin's family and me also. My cousin and i were proud of having the classmates like this. We will also remember that day forever.

  16. The earliest memory of elementary school was that I was in history class in third grades. It was my first time to learn history. I was interested in history at beginning. Eventually, I felt bored about history because it was getting complicated. And then I tried to sleep in class again and again. One day, teacher blamed me for my class's attitude on hall. I was so surprised about that. Teacher was serious to blame me. I was almost crying. After bleaming, I tried to concentrate on class, but I couldn't, for it was so difficult for me to understand and remember. So I changed my attitude into pretending in class.
