Week 10

This week we are writing concluding paragraphs. Pretend that you wrote an essay about your Spring Break. Write a concluding paragraph that summarizes or restates the main points of the "essay". Include personal comments as well. Mine would be: All and all, I enjoyed my Spring Break. Playing lots of tennis, volunteering in my kids' school and organizing my house, school papers and clothes were the highlights. It wasn't as exciting as past Spring Breaks when I've traveled to Florida or Hawaii, but this time, I truly feel relaxed and ready to work for 8 more weeks.

  1. In short, I had several experiences in my Spring Break. I ate great sushi when I went to Facebook office in Palo Alto. Another day, there was a big conference for software engineers at San Francisco. After that I had nice dinner with new friends who also come to the conference. The last day of break, dorm-mate and I had seafood lunch at Santa Cruz. I didn't travel far from here, but I met some new friends and ate a lot of tasty foods. It was nice Spring Break.

  4. In short, I had finished three things that I wanted to do in spring break. I had visited the Stanford University and the Stanford shopping center, and found the difference between the San Jose State University and the Stanford University. It was exciting for passing the written test of driving. This was a little difficulty to me because the rules of driving are a bit different from Taiwan. I found a shopping center that I had never been there before, and then I bought a small vest that I wanted. This spring break was substantial for me.

  5. In short, when it comes to my spring break, i have done lots of things. For one thing, i, clare and other friends visited the Stanford University, which is amazing, and it is so good and beautiful. For the other, one of my sister's best friends have visited us for one week. We went to go shopping and church together. She is so lovely girl and we have lots of common interests. I was very happy with her. At last, my sister's friend's parents also came America to visit their daughter, so my sister's friend invited us to her house and had a dinner together. In addition, we take her parents show around the Northern CA. Thus, i have a wonderful time during the spring break. However, now i should concerntrate on preparing for IBT.

  7. Broadly speaking, I had a good time in spring break. I spent all afternoon in San Francisco on first Saturday of the break. I passed the driving written test last Tursday. Then had a delicious dinner in the Cheesecake Factory. I went shopping in the Great Mall and bought two clothes of Nike. I started to practice driving after my sister went back home from work. This break helps me to get used to live here and study in the coming weeks.

  11. In short, it was not really an interesting Spring Break. The most interesting I had that I bought a car. Then, I just stayed at home or going out for breakfast with my grandparents. I hope I could go to school as soon as posible, because it was boring to stay at home during one week and did nothing.
